Magic Chess: Go Go brings auto-battler action to Southeast Asian Games and GO1 World Championship
Magic Chess: Go Go is diving deeper into esports after the success of MOONTON Games' Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
The competitive mobile auto-battler will have its own tournament at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in December. It's also getting its own championship event, the GO1 World Championship.

MOONTON launched Magic Chess: Go Go back in May 2025, reaching over 30 million downloads in just a few months. The auto-battler has been a huge hit for strategy fans, putting it in a great position to build an esports scene.Magic Chess: Go Go will be part of the opening day of the SEA Games, held in Bangkok, Thailand on December 12th, 2025. This will be a demonstration match, with players from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines competing. It's joining other mobile games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Free Fire, which will have medals on the line.

Outside of the SEA Games, MCGG had its first in-game qualifiers for an international tournament when the Season 3 update dropped. This will eventually lead to its first offline international tournament, the GO1 World Championship.
The GO1 World Championship will have the best 24 players competing on January 25th, 2026 at the M7 Carnival. MOONTON's decision to integrate Magic Chess into the massive MLBB community is a great way to get more eyes on the newer esports scene.
