The impact of the GO1 World Championship
The GO1 is MCGG's first international tournament. It will take place alongside the M7 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia in January 2026. This massive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament will put a lot of eyes on MOONTON's auto-battler as it amps up its esports scene. The Rising Star event allows Magic Chess: Go Go's early esports scene to be very inclusive and accessible. Players from all over the world can compete without needing to be signed to an esports organization. This will prove who is truly the best-of-the-best by the time the GO1 World Championship tournament arrives.
Ahead of this event, fans can also catch MCGG at the Southeast Asian Games in Bankok, Thailand. While it won't have an official tournament with medals, this debut demonstration match on December 12th will showcase the competitive skills of some of MCGG's best players.
"We're incredibly proud that MCGG has reached international sporting stages," said Producer Gao "Skyhook" Chong. "Tournaments like the GO1 World Championship and the SEA Games give us the chance to uncover hidden champions - players whose talent and strategy might otherwise go unseen.
"Our goal has always been to empower everyday players through the game, and we're excited to see our vision come to life on these big stages."
