Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel celebrates surpassing 100 Million Downloads by making us all HEROs

When saying card game these days, the first to come to mind is Magic. However, we can’t forget the king of games: Yu-Gi-Oh. To celebrate 100 Million Downloads on its flagship mobile offering, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, Konami is kicking off a campaign with the aim of drowning us all in Blue-Eyes White Dragons.

I may be dreaming there, as the archetype of the day appears to be HEROs. You may remember these as Jaden Yuki's chosen deck type in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, incidentally, a series with some fantastic tie-in Game Boy Advance games. But that is another topic. 

Unfortunately, I never found the HEROs to be that powerful. They can be, if you manage to pull off a Polymerisation, but good luck keeping your weaker HEROs alive long enough to do that. Still, they can be fun to play, and on that note, let’s start with the free rewards.

Logging in for 10 days total will net you a bounty of gifts, including 1,000 total Gems, 40 Lucky Draw tickets, and most importantly, 30 Raffle Tickets. You can also grab these Raffle Tickets from events and spend them in groups of 10 for one turn at the Lucky Draw. You might win the likes of an Alternate Art Exchange Ticket, 1,000 Gems, and a Lucky Draw Pack Ticket (SR or higher, Royal Finish).

Speaking of Alternate Art, there are a few new exchanges available in the Shop. This includes new art for Super Polymerisation, regular Polymerisation, and Elemental HERO Stratos. Alt art for El Shaddoll Construct and El Shaddoll Winda are also making a comeback if you missed them.
