Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis celebrates its 1.5 Year Anniversary by spoiling players with countless gifts
On some level, you have to give Square Enix a lot of credit for not milking the hell out of Final Fantasy VII. Instead of churning out anything and slapping its name on it, all the Final Fantasy VII products have been pretty good, including the sadly short-lived First Soldier. Today, though, we look at Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis and its 1.5 Year Anniversary.
Whilst we can roll our eyes at shoehorning anniversary events at any possible milestone, I suppose it is impressive Square hasn't already shut down another mobile game in its prime. Now we have the obligatory shot out of the way, Ever Crisis has racked up an impressive 10 million downloads in its life, and to celebrate, it is time to take on Odin.
If you played Final Fantasy VII, I am sure you recall cracking open that safe, struggling with Lost Number, and then enjoying this insanely powerful summon. Now, you will have to tackle the Norse All-father, joining Young Sephiroth, Angeal and Vincent as they encounter the god on their search for Tifa.

You can rack up some Odin Odin-themed gear until May 4th by visiting the Bestments of the Worthy Draw Stamps. Starting with Sephiroth’s Cape of the Worthy, you can dress up other characters through the coming weeks. There is also a host of freebies to grab, including 777 1.5 Year Anniversary Draw Tickets, Clouds exclusive five-star Umbral Blade, and 10 free draws a day until April 2nd.
Reawakened: Limit Break Medal Fragment has been added, allowing you to collect past Limit Break weapons by collecting ten. The new Overspeed ability enhances your character's stats depending on their role in battle, which will come in handy when you tackle the Escalation Challenge. This is a boss gauntlet in essence, with the difficulty increasing after each victory. Finally, dive into the Singularity The Maelstrom Tower Rampage of Ruin to earn rewards such as 13,000 Blue Crystals, a Weapon Voucher (LB), and more.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
