Keep your cardiologist on speed dial as Jump King Mobile soft-launches in select countries
I am sure everyone has played, seen, or at least heard of the so-called rage games. Those where you can lose multiple hours' worth of progress in one wrong move. Somehow, they are incredibly popular and now, Nexile and Ukiyo Publishing are launching their take on the genre; Jump King Mobile.
The story of Jump King is a tale as old as time; you are an armoured knight bouncing to the top of an impossibly tall tower in search of the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. I sincerely hope they mean smoking hot as in a giant dragon for humour. A simple concept, but the climb will be far from easy.
You will have one key job here; mastering the jumping mechanic. Each jump you take is auto-saved, so there will be none of that funny save-scumming business here! At least you will meet a colourful cast of characters on your constantly restarting journey. One look at the trailer introduces you to a trio of smoking gargoyles, and one smug cat you know is internally deriding your jumping ability.

To assist you in this endlessly upward journey you are provided 20 hearts, with one lost after each inevitable, innumerous fall. Each day you are given the chance to spin what I shall call the wheel of failure, winning between five to 100 hearts to spend on that day's adventure.
Presuming that you tear through these lives in a matter of, oh let's be generous and say minutes, you can always turn to the store and buy some more hearts. 150 will set you back $0.99, 24 hours of infinite hearts will cost $3.99, or you can go the whole hog and get infinite lives permanently for $11.99.
Players in the United Kingdom, Canada, Philippines, and Denmark can download Jump King Mobile now from the App Store and Google Play.
