Scurvy Scallywags Plundering the App Store Soon

Ron Gilbert, the creater of Monkey Island, Deathspank, and most recently, The Cave has turned his attention towards the iOS platform with a match-3 game of all things. The pirate theme is certainly not unwarranted given his history, and the gameplay looks to have RPG elements in it (which Puzzle Quest proved can be very addicitive). Most of all though, there's a definite personality and sense of humour in this trailer that looks like it will do well for yet another entry into a saturated genre. Have a look for yourself.

No definitive release date as of yet (aside from 'soon'), but they're looking for either the end of May or the start of June.
