Sword of Convallaria receives an update bringing new features, characters, and rewards

Despite already boasting over 120 hours of gameplay, XD Inc just isn't satisfied, so we are getting a nice big update for Sword of Convallaria. Sand-made Scales will introduce us to the Elaman faction, two new warriors, and a fun new mini-game if you get tired of rampaging across the land.

The new Elaman faction is coming to the Spiral of Destinies campaign and plays a major role in the Sand-made Scales update. In addition to this story, you can also enjoy The Trading Post feature. Here, you can run your own trading company in addition to managing a group of mercenaries, you overachiever you.

As you might have assumed, this will involve an awful lot of trading. To build up your caravan you will have to take orders, manage logistics, and travel between trade points to show off your wares. Be cautious, as you might run into trouble on your adventures. 

If you are in need of a boost in the healing area, then you might want to take a look at the first new character; Cocoa. At the start of each round, she will grant Breakfast to the two allies with the lowest HP percentage within two tiles of herself, healing them for 15%. Her healing kit is powerful, but this free recurring health should be reason enough to grab her.

For those lacking an attacking option, Acambe could be your answer. He packs a 15% attack increase and has an energy limit of 9. For every 3 points, you will gain 1 more at the end of the actions, perfect to pump out the damage. He can also summon Shadow Assassins to harass enemies. 

A new feature you can take advantage of in battle is the assist function. Should the fight not be going your way, simply call upon your allies from Elysium to come give you a helping hand. You don’t need me to tell you that more friends in a fight can only ever be a good thing.
