Pokémon TCG Pocket announces Fantastical Parade Expansion coming next week

We have another new set incoming for Pokémon TCG Pocket, and once more, there seems to be no sign of Mega Lucario. Why must the fates deny me? Is it because I say mean things about Nintendo a lot? Whilst I have my breakdown, let's take a look at the expansion, dubbed Fantastical Parade.

This set continues drip-feeding us the Megas, Mega Gardevoir ex being front and centre. And I must say, I think that they might be the best Mega so far. Not letting the fact that I love them and Gallade sway that in any way. Having said that, though, I haven’t really seen a mega that I would be willing to risk 3 points for.

For 2 Psychic Energy, you can deal 110 damage and add 3 Psychic Energy to your Psychic Pokemon in any way you like. Great for ramping up your bench; however, don’t forget Gardevoir is Stage 3, so you need a bit of luck to get them early enough to make a difference.

Mega Mawile ex also doesn’t look too shabby, to be fair. For 1 Steel and 1 Normal energy, you can spam Heat-Up Crunch. It deals 60, and as long as Mawile stays in the Active Spot, you add 30 damage each time you use it. If your enemy lacks control moves or items, you could rack up massive damage.

Plus, they are Basic, so you can start the terror from your second turn.

In addition to this set, there are two big incoming. You can add some set messages to Trade, stating what wishlisted card you wish to trade for, and if you want it in a different language. I do like that you can have different language cards, but I don’t have a good enough memory for them. 

Our second update is a Random Battle Option. This is part of the solo battle feature, because that is basically what online battles are anyway. The concept is simple: you won’t know what the AI opponent will play, so you can’t just bring a deck full of their weaknesses to the table. Pretty good test of your deck for the online battles, it must be said.
