Are you ready to fight alongside Barkle in PUBG Mobile? Here's how

PUBG Mobile's Primewood Genesis didn't give us Groot after all. But in my opinion, it gave us something better: Barkle. 

Barkle is a tree-like ally, a treant, that can join you in battle. Sorta like how PowNin did back in Update 4.1 (RIP). If you want Barkle's support, you'll first need to find him. 

Where to find Barkle in PUBG Mobile

If you miss having your penguin companion in 4.1, don't fret: Barkle is here to keep you company in 4.2. However, you gotta locate him first. 

First, go to the Primewood Genesis Mode. You'll have to head to Erangel or Livik to find him. 

When Barkle becomes available on the map, you can find him using the green icon on the map. He's often found in hot drops or purified zones. 

Approaching Barkle will recruit him right away. He becomes free to summon in Primewood Genesis Mode. 

Barkle's abilities and voice commands

You will communicate with Barkle using a command wheel or voice commands. The command wheel has options for:

• Attack
• Defend
• Heal
• Search
• Carry
• Hide

The voice commands are quite similar and the languages can be changed. It's sort of like having a human teammate by your side, except Barkle always listens. 

Barkle can attack but he's largely there to support you. Here are his abilities: 

• Attack: Throw rocks at a distance
• Defend/Shield: Spreads arms to create a barrier that can absorb damage
• Heal: Transfers his HP to restore yours
• Revive/Rescue: Picks up downed teammates, healing them while reviving them
• Search Supplies: Scan the area for loot, marking them within a certain range
• Carry/Ride: Brings you to a safe spot
• Hide: Hides in the foliage; can also hide you

It's no Groot, but I love this original content more than another crossover.
