PUBG Mobile collabs can't be stopped, this time it's Schott NYC

We had a few weeks of actual news for a bit, what with the arrival of Primewood Genesis and all, but we're back to the silly, nonsensical collaborations. This time, it's a collab with Schott NYC, a jacket fashion brand that's usually worn by the more alternative crowds. 

And I was just recovering from the Peaky Blinders team-up. 

PUBG Mobile x Schott NYC brings leather jackets to the fight

If you thought PUBG Mobile would have cammo gear and neutral clothes meant to blend into the environment during a war, you are expecting way too much realism. Intead, you will be running around with Balenciaga and driving a Porsche. 

Schott NYC will be bringing more high-end fashion to PUBG Mobile. Thank god. This time, it's punk clothing, including its iconic Perfecto leather jacket. There will also be Schott NYC-branded avatars, frames, and themed items that bring the noise and attitude. 

Like other PUBG Mobile brand collaborations, there will be real-life rewards as well. You can enter a draw to win the Perfecto jacket in real life - a special version with PUBG Mobile branding. 

The trailer shows a bunch of punks wearing leather jackets and traversing the map on motorcycles. While I'm not a fan of PUBG Mobile's constant collaborations - especially anything with Skibiddi toilets - I think this does bring a pretty neat alternative flair to the game that fits into its rebellious spirit. Sorta.
