A new racing simulation is coming and it may finally make me check out the genre. Racing Master is a real-time simulation with "cutting-edge physics" powered by Unreal Engine, promising a "lifelike racing experience" that I really want to put to the test.

As a car enthusiast who has spent a lot of time on the track in real life, I'd love to get behind the virtual wheel of a supercar right on my phone. With tons of legendary supercars (Koenigsegg, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.) and hundreds of customization options, it seems like the chance to live out some automotive fantasies.

Not that I think I'll be getting track times worthy of an esports team signing.

Racing Master goes beyond the obvious racing experiences as well. You can hop inside a classic JDM cars as well. There are even restored versions of real-life tracks that have been realistically recreated in-game, taking you to Shanghai, Chicago, San Francisco, and all over the world.

With state-of-the-art visuals and smooth, authentic race car handling, I think this will definitely be a pretty immersive racing sim. And no, I'm in no way sponsored. I'm just very into cars.

When is Racing Master coming out?

Racing Master has an official release date of October 29th, 2025. Aparently, a closed beta in South America just wrapped up as well.

You can already pre-register to take part in the intense racing sim. Reaching certain pre-registration milestones will unlock free rewards.

However, the rewards sorta scare me because they look suspiciously like loot boxes and I'm not very into in-game purchases, especially of the gambling sort. On the same page, I did spot a Lotus logo, which gives me some hope of seeing my Lotus Elise in the game. Which could make up for some cringy loot stuff.

Is Racing Master going to have an esports scene?

It's very likely.

The realistic racing sim seems like it'll be a top contender for mobile racing. Tencent being behind the game also seems to point at the game being a bit more competitive.
