Tiny Realms coming to Android early 2015, big updates for iOS players before Christmas

TinyMob has dropped us a line to say that if you happen to be an Android gamer you'll very soon have access to what I sincerely believe is one of the best strategy games of the year. Tiny Realms will come to Android devices "in the New Year", and you only need to see just how much coverage we've given it so far to know that you should be very excited about this fact if you happen to game with Google gubbins. We've also been told that those with the iOS version will receive "major new content" before 2014 is through. If you're waiting for the Android version (or you haven't yet downloaded the game for your iPhone or iPad), here's the brand new trailer for the Battlegrounds mode to get you…

Ambition announces surprising download figures for its English language dating games, plus MOE Can Change is now available in 3 new countries

Brilliantly bizarre dating sim Animal Boyfriend struck a chord with me earlier this year, and it seems to have struck a chord with some of you too. In conjunction with developer Ambition's other western release - MOE Can Change - its English language titles have now been downloaded an impressive 200,000 times. At the same time as we received news of this download milestone, Ambition also revealed to us that MOE Can Change has now been released in three new countries: Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore. So if you're in those territories and fancy teaching a lady robot how to love, fill your boots. And really, who doesn't? Here's the trailer... ... and here's how you can download MOE Can C…

Console and PC RPG Lords of the Fallen to be released on mobile in 2015

We're not exactly sure how CI Games is planning on cramming this ultra-gorgeous RPG onto your iOS and Android devices next year, but that's exactly what the studio has announced. Lords of the Fallen was a launch title for Xbox One and PS4, and looked impressive even by those standards. Still, who are we to complain? Another epic RPG on the App Store or Google Play definitely wouldn't hurt.…

Now you can flip your bike over in abject frustration with friends in Trials Frontier's PvP update

Mobiles are an entirely social tool. You're constantly receiving calls, texts, messenger messages, and a whole host of other irritating pop-ups that cover your beautiful wallpaper. So why, then, don't more mobile games contain PvP so we can play against our friends? Well, Ubisoft have got the message and have updated the, quite frankly, awesome Trials Frontier with a new PvP mode that allows you to do just that. Check out the trailer below for a look at the new mode in action.…

Drop Assault is soon set to land on an iOS and Android device near you

Games Workshop has collaborated with Complex Games Inc. to release a mobile game set in Warhammer 40,000's Horus Heresy story. The result is Drop Assault, coming soon to iOS and Android. Drop Assault is a free-to-play tactical strategy game that promises to be a little pacier than traditional games in the genre. Set in the post-apocalyptic land of Isstvan III, you'll be choosing to join forces with either the Loyalists or the traitorous Horus. All of which probably won't mean much to someone who hasn't heard of Horus Heresy before. Everyone will be able to understand the multiplayer Skirmish mode, however, which pits you against one of your friends (or an enemy or stranger) to s…

Tiny Realms gets yet another sizeably satisfying update

You know those pretty awesome Bastion troops TinyMob added to Tiny Realms not so long ago? Well, you can now give them one of three specific orders to ensure they're doing their awesome thing exactly as you want them to. This is as part of a new update just released that also includes realm building reminders (messages appearing above buildings with helpful reminders) and updated faction unit traits.  For a much, MUCH more in-depth look at the most recent update, why not watch this amusing video created by the devs themselves: Talkin' Tiny Episode VII: The Tiny Awakens. Now, if I can just remember which topical film franchise they got that title from...…

Awesome Inkle adventure 80 Days is landing on Android devices this month

We loved Inkle's 80 Days when we first got handsy with it back in July. Now, it's finally making the trip over to Android - on December 16th, to be precise. This is definitely a case of better late than never. It's a digital interactive storybook based on the Jules Vernes novel Around the World in Eighty Days. You play as Jean Passepartout as he attempts to - you guessed it - travel around the world in 80 days, with his travelling companion Phineas Fogg. Whilst you wait, why not watch James playing the  iOS version of the game for the first time back in July. Trust us - if you an Android gamer, December 16th can't come soon enough.…

Yes, you read that correctly, Androiders. All of this can be yours for the princely price of £6.99 - just head on over to Google Play via the link below. Oh and, unfortunately, there's no trailer as of yet (though this will be updated with one as soon as there is) so here's our very own Pe…
