Dunk City Dynasty Global Championship 2025 will have a $100K prize pool

The Dunk City Dynasty Global Championship 2025 is underway, an international tournament featuring 3v3 streetball action right on your phone. 

If you play the NBA-sponsored Dunk City app on your phone, you can register for the tournament here. Registration is now open and the Open Qualifier lasts until October 5th.

If you're a true baller, you'll make it through three stages to reach the offline finals in Shanghai, China come November. There will be a $100,000 prize pool on the line thanks to developer and publisher NetEase Games. 

Dunk City Dynasty Global Championship format and schedule

The Dunk City Dynasty Global Championship will bring the competitive action to seven regions: Europe, North America, Latin America, China, Taiwan/Hong Kong, the Philippines, and the rest of Southeast Asia. 

There will be three stages: Regional Open Qualifiers, Regional Finals, and the Global Championship Finals in China. The open qualifiers are open now and will run until October 5th. This is followed by the Regional Finals, which will have the best of each country duke it out on October 11th - 12th. The top from all over the world will secure a spot at the offline finals. 

Here's the outline via an official press release: 

• Stage 1: Regional Open Qualifiers. Registered teams in each region go head-to-head in an 8-group bracket. The top 1 team from each group advances, creating a pool of 8 regional teams
• Stage 2: Regional Finals. The top team rising from each region’s 8 qualifier teams will carry their banner to the offline finals, claiming the superb ticket to games glory. (Note: The number of offline finals slots for each region may vary based on the level of competition and regional priorities. There will be 10 teams in total.)
• Stage 3: Global Championship Finals. The 10 teams emerging from the Regional Finals will battle it out for $100,000 in the spectacular offline finals in Shanghai, China!
