Fable Town is celebrating its one-year anniversary with the Anniversary of Magic, a three-week event with special events and rewards.

As of August 2025, Fable Town's publisher, MGVC Publishing, has announced that the game has surpassed 500,000 monthly active users and 100,000 daily active users. This has put it as the second-most-popular merge-3 game.

With Anniversary of Magic, there are some new gameplay elements to experience until October 2nd.This includes new quests with big rewards. Whether it's the main story or special events, you can pick quests of varying types, difficulty, and duration. Fable Town is also getting a new Wizard Collection feature, allowing players to merge and open Wizard Boxes to collect and upgrade Wizards, giving players unique abilities like removing obstacles.

“We’re incredibly grateful to our players for making Fable Town’s first year such a success, and it’s truly rewarding to see such a strong community forming around the game,” said Eugene Bratkov, CEO at Reef Games Studio.

“This milestone is a result of the close partnership with MGVC Publishing and our shared vision of creating fun, memorable experiences for the players. We’re excited to keep building on this success together and to continue growing the adventure alongside our players.”

Fable Town sees insane revenue in first year

We all know how Pokemon GO made $1 billion in 200 days thanks to fanatics wanting to open booster packs faster and faster. But Fable Town has also seen some incredible numbers. MGVC Publishing reported $9 million in revenue for its first year, with $1 million coming in July and August.

Fable Town has become a very popular mobile game thanks to its familiar merge-3 gameplay and curious plot. You play as Ginny, Merlin's granddaughter, as she uses her merge magic to restore the town and solve its mysteries. With plenty of characters to interact, endless merging possibilities, and weekly events, Fable Town has become a huge hit.

The ratings prove this, with gamers on both Apple and Android phones singing its praises. However, mixed in to all of the compliments on the app's gameplay and style, many gamers have started to voice frustrations with the game's in-app purchase pop-ups. This has clearly worked on many gamers, however, looking at the game's first-year revenue.

Fable Town is available to play on the Android and iOS platforms.
