Honor of Kings: World eyes Spring 2026 release date

Fans of the competitive mobile MOBA, Honor of Kings, has been awaiting this game for a while. Honor of Kings: World is now set to come out in Spring 2026 after months of betas and appearances at events around the world. 

Honor of Kings: World is a multiplayer action RPG with an open world. It's meant for friends to explore, taking on various adventures and meeting legendary heroes from the Honor of Kings universe. 

The game will expand on HoK's lore, offering character development and story exploration. On top of experiencing the expansive world with friends, you can also take part in dynamic combat, teaming up to take on incredible battles. 

Developers highlight the cinematics of Honor of Kings: World, which includes beautiful cutscenes between missions that provide you with a storyline to follow and explore. The story was written with help from Liu Cixin, an acclaimed Chinese storyteller, so you can expect dynamic, immersive plot points and character dialogue. 

The simple controls are perfect for players on mobile, from unleashing a barrage of attacks to moving around the dynamic world. Characters start with basic attacks but you can unlock flashy combos and upgrade skills as you progress. 

Honor of Kings: World will be cross-platform

One of the most interesting parts of Honor of Kings: World is the cross-platform element. 

World is going to be released for PC and mobile (iOS and Android devices). This means that PC and mobile players will be able to play together (or against one another). This has been met with excitement and criticism, since both groups of gamers are often quite different. 

Honor of Kings: World won't be released for console, so Xbox and PlayStation players are out of luck, another point of contention with the gaming community.
