Metacritic's top 50 games of the decade is disappointingly light on mobile games

Metacritic, everyone's favourite film, games, and music aggregator, has now released its top 50 highest-rated games of the decade. Truth be told, there are very few surprises here, though what stands out to me is the complete lack of mobile games. Sure, Journey (number 40) and Inside (number 28) eventually got ported over, but there's not a single entry here that originated from iOS or Android.

Even indie darlings like Monument Valley (Metascore of 89), Florence (Metascore of 82), and The Room (Metascore of 89) don't come particularly close to hitting the 91+ Metascore required to feature here. The thing is that there are mobile games from the past decade with a score that's more than high enough to break the top 50, but they sadly didn't receive the required 15+ reviews to qualify. An example would be Alto's Adventure, which has a Metascore of 92 with only 8 reviews.
