How's this for a video game premise...

In Animal Boyfriend you take a "handsome Animal Student" (!) and help him to become a "refined" human being. Along the way you can change his personality and appearance (!!), talk with him and go on dates, and train him (!!!) to become your perfect boyfriend.

The game has well over 1 million users in Japan, mostly female according to the developer, and it's now come to the west with a full English translation.

To celebrate, a number of time-sensitive beginner events will be occurring in Animal Boyfriend;

1. Triple Attribute Point Campaign: Attribute Points are needed to change the personality of your boyfriend.

EDT: Until 8/11 2AM
PDT: Until 8/10 11PM
GMT: Until 8/11 6AM
AEST: Until 8/11 4 PM

2. Double K Campaign: K is the in-game currency used to purchase items and clothes.

EDT: From 8/12 10PM-Until 8/17 10PM
PDT: From 8/12 7PM-Until 8/17 7PM
GMT: From 8/13 2AM-Until 8/18 2AM
AEST: 8/11 Until 4 PM

3. Double EXP Campaign: doubles your experience so that you can gain access to more varieties of hair-dos and clothes, as well as increasing the number of boyfriends you can have.

EDT: From 8/17 10PM-Until 8/21 8/21 10PM
PDT: From 8/17 7PM-Until 8/21 7PM
GMT: From 8/18 2AM-Until 8/22 2AM
AEST: 8/18 12AM-Until 8/22 12 PM

4. Double JIN Campaign: another of the currencies, JIN is used to purchase unique avatars, and is gained from making purchases in the shop.

5. Triple Attribute Point Campaign: same as the first phase.

Obviously we'll have a hands-on video with Animal Boyfriend for you as soon as humanly possible. Probably today, because quite honestly this game is literally all I can think about right now.
