Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket allows you to control cardboard god in Triumphant Light set

Last month, Pokemon Pocket released the Space-Time Smackdown, and whilst there were some decent cards, they also turned Lucario into a support and that is unforgivable. I want my Aura Sphere powerful! Pokemon Connect showed out the next set, Triumphant Light, available today.

It is safe to say that Space-Time gave the metal cards a significant boost with the release of Dialga EX, and they will be getting some pretty strong deck options here too. Starting off with the Trainer Adaman, your Metal Pokemon will take 20 less damage from attacks during your opponent's next turn.

The poster child for this set, Arceus EX, could also potentially work well with Dialga. Due to being colourless, you can boost up to their 3-cost Ultimate Force in one turn using Dialga's ability to add two energy to a benched Pokemon. This attack deals 70 damage, plus 20 more for each benched Pokemon. Not too shabby if you set up early.

Second to my love of Lucario is Eeevee and all their family, so seeing a pretty good Lefeon EX makes me happy. When in the active spot, their Ability lets you add one Grass Energy to any Grass Pokemon, which is a nice passive way to set up your squad. 

Glaccon EX is also set to boost Water decks, with their ability to deal 10 damage to the opponent when in the Active Spot. Add this to Irida, a Trainer who will heal 40 damage from a Pokemon with water energy, and Water decks are eating well too in this set.

To celebrate 100 Million Downloads, all players will receive three special booster packs if they log in before April 30th. You will get one pack for each of the three Genetic Apex boosters, with each guaranteed to include a card of at least four-diamond rarity. Finally, Ranked Marches will be added in March 2025, with additional details to come.
