Persona 5: The Phantom X releases its Version 2 update with a fantastic support character

After forming this Phantom Thieves chapter, our protagonist is growing famous with the public. Not everyone is a fan, it seems, as a new teacher in school is lurking on the grounds and manipulating students. What’s more, Riko Tanemura of the Disciplinary Committee has begun noticing things aren't as they seem. Chapter 3: Unconditional Love Phase 1 is off to a bang.

To no one's great surprise, Riko is joining the team. Code name Wind, she is a support class who raises the party's stats at the start of battle, as well as powering up All-Out Attacks. If you need more firepower to tackle these new problems, 5-Star Phantom Thief Ren Amamiya and her Phoenix Dagger weapon will be making a comeback to the Most Wanted draws. 

For a taste of something new, Ayaka Sakai is available in the Dazzling Encore contract until October 8th. Sakai, or Chord, can designate one ally as her Costar. This buffs their attack and strengthens their Highlight effect. Not only this, but she causes the Gauge to fill faster, and can even instantly activate a Highlight. Along with her contract, you can also enjoy her Synergy Story.

Whether you use her or not, she will be helpful for the new Tasks feature, available at Player Level 20. You can send your allies to complete tasks and receive rewards after a set time. These include Meta Jewels, Thief’s Cognitite Shards, or you can take on exclusive Tasks for special prizes. If you'd rather take it easy, you can head to Kichijoji. This new area brings with it part-time jobs and more characters to meet. 

Finally, shiny things. Playing Version 2 will net you up to 1,280 Meta Jewels by completing goals, as some event-exclusive Mizuhiki Knots. Get enough Knots, and you can grab the 4-Star Red Plum Blossom weapon for Riko Tanemura, plus the materials to upgrade it. This only lasts until October 22nd.
