New mobile battle royale Prime Rush has partnered with LOUD's parent company, Spacecaps, for its early access launch in Brazil.

Created by Supergaming, one of India's biggest game developers, Prime Rush is a "Brazil-first" game that is focused on community and localization. Brazilian creators at LOUD provided insights as the game was being created, helping the game highlight Brazil's culture.

"Our collaboration with Supergaming on Prime Rush is a significant step in our mission to bring authentic and engaging gaming experiences to our community,” said LOUD CEO Bruno Bittencourt in a press release.

“We are thrilled to have our community be a part of the development process and to see a game that is truly made for them. Prime Rush is a celebration of Brazilian culture and a testament to the power of community-driven game development.”

What is Prime Rush?

Set in Mare, Prime Rush is a battle royale that takes elements of Brazil to create a "familiar" location for players. The gameplay is meant to be fast, tactical, and dynamic, with multiple win conditions.

It makes sense to create a competitive battle royale focused on Brazil, as random as it may sound on the outside. Outside of Southeast Asia, Brazil has become one of the largest countries in mobile esports. Teams have been competing in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Honor of Kings, and more, often flying to Asia to compete.

When I spoke with LOUD's co-founder, Matthew Ho, at the Honor of Kings King Pro League (KPL) Grand Finals in Beijing, he spoke about Brazil's passion for mobile esports. The country is big on games with a community focus, like Honor of Kings' social activations and engagement opportunities.

Other countries have started to take notice.

“Brazil has one of the most competitive and distinct mobile shooter audiences in the world, and from the beginning we wanted to build Prime Rush with authenticity,” said Roby John, CEO and Co-founder of SuperGaming.

“For us, that meant spending time on ground, listening to players and creators, and understanding how the Brazilian community plays, competes, and connects. Working alongside LOUD has allowed us to test, learn, and improve Prime Rush in close partnership with players before scaling the experience across LATAM."

When Prime Rush launched, it had five avatars inspired by Brazil's culture. There is also a tactical ability system that will help shape team strategy and gameplay.

At launch, players can choose from five avatars inspired by Brazilian culture, each offering a range of emotes and weapon cosmetics for personal expression.

Early Access is currently available in Brazil. Players can also pre-register on the Google Play Store for Android in Brazil and will be notified when Prime Rush becomes more widely available and to unlock exclusive pre-registration rewards.

More regions in LATAM will follow.
