Ragnarok M: Classic Global brings the original iconic game to a new audience

Odds are if you have played games for a while, you will of heard of the Ragnarok franchise. It is pretty successful. Now, get ready to engage the fun in an all-new, old way with the release of Ragnarok M: Classic Global, a reimagining of the famous MMORPG.

For those who enjoyed the majesty of Ragnarok Online, you will definitely recognise this iteration of Midgard. There will be the iconic jobs, maps, and monsters plucked straight from the famous game. You can also take advantage of the cross-platform capabilities to play with your friends across mobile and PC. Although it is called Ragnarok M, so stick with the light side.

Even if you haven’t played before, you will feel right at home with Ragnarok’s genre-staple classes. Get up close with the Swordsman or Thief, rain devastation from afar as a Mage or Archer, or be beloved as the healing Acolyte. If you are looking for a different way to play, you can jump in as a Merchant. Your skills can cost money, but you will also rake it in hand over fist.

Each class can also specialise into two separate paths. Hone your skills with the bow as an Archer, and you can become a Ranger. Or, delight your party and heed the call of the Minstrel. For a more melee playstyle, the Swordsman can opt between aggression and train as a Rune Knight, or defend their friends as the Royal Guard. There is a wide range of ways to play. 

No matter how you play, you can be safe in the knowledge that the folks over at Gravity Interactive are doing their development right. The one-currency economy remains intact, so there will be no whales running around on day one. We are still free from pay-to-win, and that is never a bad thing.
