SD Gundam G Generation Eternal launches April 14th for some massive fun with tiny robot battles
I have always, and forever will, unequivocally adore Bandai, before and after the Namco merger. .hack, Digimon World, Freedom Wars, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, I could go on. They have been present in my entire gaming life, and soon there will be a new chapter. On April 14th, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal launches.
Gundam is incredible by itself. The anime series is so entertaining, even when they go cheesy with it, but that's part of the fun. As for the games, they are fantastic. You fight in giant robots, how can’t you love that? I still enjoy a few games of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 from time to time.
I have digressed, as per usual, so back to the matter at hand. And that is SD Gundam G Generation Eternal, soon to be in your hand. This is a turn-based tactical grid take on the mecha fun, and will eventually have over 500 suits to choose from across 70 different series. Fingers crossed one of these is the Susanowo.

Generation Eternal will, at its peak, retell the iconic stories of the Mobile Suit franchise's many many series. However, on launch, there will only be ten scenarios to play through. Of course, Mobile Suit Gundam is in there, as is one of my personal favourites, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed. There are also some surprising choices for a first outing, like Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans. A strong series to be sure, but no one I would have chosen for your maiden outing.
From the off, there will be around 300 suits to collect, which is still a massive amount. Each of these has its strengths and weaknesses to discover as you build your dream squad, toughen them up, and embark on a new adventure through the world of G Generation.
SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
