SD Generation G Generation Eternal unveils more information on upcoming SEED content

It is an excellent time to be a SEED fan, because Bandai have released information on two upcoming additions to SD Generation G Generation Eternal. The first is a trailer for the previously announced SEED Recollection, which is rather exciting, plus the reveal of some SEED Astray content.

Before dissecting that trailer, we will start with the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray announcement. Coming April 30th, this event will bring us characters and Gundam from the SEED Astray mini-series. Interestingly, this was only released in written form through manga and novels, so it is good to know that the developers will pull from outside the anime series.

Completing these stages will let you gather Astray Units and Characters. You can collect the Attack-type Gold Frame Amatsu and cover it with the support-type Blue Frame Second L. For pilots, you can recruit Rondo Gina Sahaku with their Increased Damage Dealt Ability, Gai Marakumo, who sports the Counter Support Ability, and Lowe Guele, a Durability type character. To play this, you need to be Player Rank 3, and using SEED-tagged characters and Units will result in event bonuses.

Next, the real excitement. We covered the initial announcement of SEED Recollection, the original story linking SEED and SEED Destiny, but seeing it in action is a whole other thing. After SEED, the Earth Alliance and ZAFT signed a treaty, and peace was achieved for all of five minutes. Then, a new threat emerged as it does and just started blasting. Enter Recollection.

The story will be split into two, with the first half following Kira Yamato in the DRAGOON Strike Gundam, before pivoting to Athrun Zala piloting the Murasame. Even better, the story features all-new animations, and I sincerely hope it is the precursor to a new SEED anime. To play Recollection, you need to clear the SEED story, which unlocks after you complete the initial Gundam one. It also starts at 60,000 CP, so make sure your Free Squad is sufficiently powered up.
