Free Fire is just a few short days from unlimited Sorcery power in Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration

Back in August (or rather last year in August), Free Fire brought out a collaboration with Naruto Shippuden. And before that, in January, they had the same crossover with Naruto. Well, this anime fever is still running hot over in Garena, as now Free Fire is welcoming the hit series, Jujutsu Kaisen, from January 14th until February 13th.

Yes, Garena is trying to completely invalidate the core premise of Free Fire, because if you can be a Sorcerer, who needs guns? If you want to wield this awesome power, then the Jujutsu Awakening campaign is for you. In Battle Royale, you can harvest Cursed Energy by defeating foes. It’s also all over the floor and in vending machines; it's everywhere.

Gather enough, and you upgrade your Cursed Tool: Hammer, or unlock one of five Jujutsu techniques. These are Divergent Fist, Unlimited Void, Hollow Purple, Malevolent Shrine, and the Ember Insects. You can also purchase these during Clash Squad, so no one can hide from your new mystical ways. 

For the full immersion, Garena has pulled off its biggest ever peak reskin. You will now be doing battle around a Free-Fire flavoured Jujutsu High School, but that isn't all. Yoshimasa Terui, the composer behind numerous Jujutsu Kaisen music tracks, has created two new songs for this event. You will be engaging in frantic Sorcery duels to the sounds of Awakening Path and Awakening Battle.

Of course, it doesn’t stop at just gameplay, because as we all know, fashion is the true endgame of all games! There is a host of skins and character bundles that you can obtain, should you wish. Or, you can settle for the Yuji Itadori bundle that you can get for free as the event’s Grand Prize. Not a bad reward for turning people to dust with Hollow Purple.
