12th Pocket Gamer Awards winners will be revealed soon, including Best Multiplayer Game

The 12th annual Pocket Gamer Awards will be revealed Thursday, February 5th, and we're hoping to see some esports titles make the list! 

The voting closed a bit ago, meaning Pocket Gamer readers have submitted thousands of votes for their favorite mobile games.

The Pocket Gamer Awards celebrate a wide range of game categories and their communities. This includes some categories that we hope will see some esports representation, including Best Multiplayer Game and Best Sports Game. 

Mobile esports have continued to skyrocket in popularity over the past few years. With over 5.68 million peak concurrent viewers, the M7 World Championship Grand Finals has become the most-viewed mobile esports tournament in history. Even more casual events have been record-breaking: PUBG Mobile recently earned a Guinness World Record for "Most Pairs Performing a Choreographed Handshake (Multiple Venues)."

Competitive mobile games are growing in popularity, engaging communities, and celebrating competition around the world.
