Description

JAX 3Stereo will split the audio stream into 3 independent frequency bands and apply several kinds of parametric stereo correction and modification. The bandwidth for each frequency band is freely adjustable (also automate-able). With this audio unit you will have complete control over the stereo image and you can apply frequency selective corrections and creative modifications. The goniometer display will give you great visual feedback.

AudioUnits (AUv3) require a supporting host application to perform. Our app is able to perform a demo with some embedded audio loops as a standallone host. By opening the main app ones, the audio unit will be registered for system wide usage with all supporting audio unit hosts.

This build is truly 'universal', meaning, the unit is available for:

- MacOS (Apple Silicon M1/2/3)
- iOS (iPhone)
- iPadOS (iPads)
- visionOS (Apple Vision Pro)

Usage and look&feel is identical on all platforms.

Making AU technology available across all devices (for usage with GarageBand, Logic Pro X, Mainstage 3 on the Mac), is quite a chellenge.
And we have chosen to deliver the releases across all devices instead of asking mutliple times for your money. But such development effort must be compensated anyhow. Otherwise we are not able to produce into the future.

Our builds come with latest technology support for all Apple devices. We therefore always develop with latest Apple frameworks and compilers. But we try to keep the compatibility at minimum requirements as far as even possible. Especially the latest M1 and cross platform optimizations forced us to drop all the legacy device support (below iOS 14 / MacOS 11). This is also true for all our existing apps, which will be updated step by step to reflect the latest technologies.

What's New in Version 3.7

- we corrected a discovered issue with parameter automation (affecting some platforms)
- a new dialog for unified preset handling was implemented
- implemented code for autoloading into the distribution app for testing purposes
- minor (cosmetic) user interface corrections
- updated the embedded user manual
