Tom and Jerry: Chase, NetEase's neat-looking asymmetrical multiplayer game, has now opened for pre-registration in SEA. Supported regions currently include Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Brunei, and East Timor.

Gameplay here is said to be fast-paced and mobile-friendly, with one team playing as the mice and the other taking on the role of the cat. The mice have to scour the map for hidden cheese, while it's the cat's job to stop them in their tracks.

Special drinks and items can be hunted down for neat buffs, and the matches themselves are kept fairly brief, serving up casual fun for all ages. You can also expect to see plenty of fan-favourite characters along the way, such as Tom, Jerry, Tuffy, and Spike.

Tom and Jerry: Chase is now available for pre-registration from Google Play and pre-order from the App Store. Pre-registration rewards include in-game currency, perk points, a special skin, and more.

All told, it looks like it could be quite good fun, and the team has done an impressive job of capturing the cartoon's style and sense of humour. More info can be found on the game's official site.
