MOBAs have become increasingly more popular in recent years, with Arena of Valor being one of the bigger names on mobile, repeatedly being competitively played in the esport community. Now the 5v5 giant is partnering with the equally popular series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba for a limited-time collaboration, starting May 6th.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Taiba is the anime adaptation of the manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsuno Yaiva that started broadcasting in April 2019. It follows the story of Tanjiro, a young man whose family is slaughtered by a demon, as well as having sister Nezuko transformed into one. Following this, Tanjiro resolves to become a demon slayer to get revenge on the demon and find a way to cure his sister. Demon Slayer gained huge popularity upon its release all around the world for its unique art style and story, so it is no wonder it joins the list of Arena of Valor collaborations such as Bleach, Ultraman and Sword Art Online.

When the event kicks off on May 6th, players will be able to obtain skins based on the show's main characters. Keera players will be able to dress up as Nezuko, followed by a Tanjiro skin for Yan at a later date. The skins have been carefully crafted from the series, with classic powers and abilities to be used in-game.

In addition to these skins, there are also special limited-time events with unique rewards to earn. By completing in-game activities, players will be able to earn dice, which when rolled will determine the number of steps to be advanced on a board. Once a lap is completed, there will be themed rewards up for grabs that include The Butterfly Mansion Girl skin for Alice.

Arena of Valor is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.
