The day of prophecy is upon us as SuperPlanet has finally released their newest title; Boomerang RPG: Watch out, Dude! A follow to the smash hit Missle Dude RPG, Boomerang RPG is stuffed full of the same action and humour as its predecessor, so what are you waiting for?
Once upon a sunny day in Dude World, the demons invaded, devastating the lands and bringing an era of darkness. However, a bright spark shone brightly when a brilliant baby Dude was born, and he triumphantly reached out his hand and grasped tight a boomerang. The Legendary Boomerang dude was born, and the demons all quaked in terror.
After years of training, it's time for the Boomerang Dude to do what a Dude does best; long-range thwackage with a curved stick! To succeed in your task you will need to relinquish that which we all hold dear; your fashion sense. Wearing ridiculous outfits may hurt your pride but you will obtain huge power. To help with this, make sure to make full use of the 7-Day Attendance Event, which will reward you with an ultra-rare plunger hat.
No matter how powerful a Dude is, no one can stand alone, so even our legendary hero must recruit a few companions. There are four friends to collect, each with their own uses and power levels to increase. Level them enough and they will prove to be invaluable assets in the war.
Upon kitting out your powerful parties of various Dudes, it is time to tackle the variety of deadly gameplay modes. There is of course the story mode, however, outside of this you can undertake Bounty Missions or the Titanium Golem Dungeon. You can also take on the most vile of jobs, and Escort Missions. It is worth it, however, just about, as you will receive resources to pick up more gear.
It is also quite worth noting that the SuperPlanet Official Youtube page is celebrating the release of Boomerang RPG with some lore videos, and rather fittingly, some really ridiculous videos such as a demon dance, a recruitment video, or my personal favourite, the dude trying to help with household tasks and hilariously failing.
