Numbers to 1 is a puzzle logic game for the iPhone where players must move different tiles around until they all equal one. Also, the bottom right hand corner square must always be empty. Your goal is to progress through each puzzle and dimension to complete them all.
To solve the puzzles, you will have to move number across other tiles into a gap by tapping them. As they cross the gap it will subtract the number it jumps over. For example if a three block jumps over a two block, it will become a one block. Three minus two equals one. It may sound complicated, but it gets easier once you get the hang of it.
The visuals are basic, but players can hit a button that will turn on a colour scheme that will help in solving the puzzles. The sound is restricted to the swish of tiles moving, but players can use their iPod during gameplay. The game is single player only and throws you straight into the main game mode upon launch.
Numbers to 1 is a somewhat addictive puzzle game. It may take you a while to understand what you’re doing, but you will soon get into the swing of things and begin working your way through the various puzzles. So if you’re a fan of Rubik’s Cubes or a game that will rack your brain on more than one occasion, Numbers to 1 is a worthwhile title.
