Florix is a puyo puyo style arcade game set in a flower garden where the player must clear the falling flowers by matching the colours of the petals with other flowers that have previously fallen to the ground.
Each flower petal has its own colour. As players eliminate flowers, new ones continue to grow on twigs at the top of the screen and fall to the ground. Players are able to move the flowers by swiping their finger along the screen and can rotate the petals by touching on either the right or left hand side of the screen. There are three difficulty levels available for players to choose from as well as a global leader board where players can check how their scores rate against other players.
The graphics for the game are quite colourful with a sort of storybook look to it and are well polished. The music is very fairy-tale like and compliments the graphics superbly to give a sort of magical and enchanting feel to the game. Players are also able to disable the sound and have their iTunes library playing in the background.
Although beautifully designed, Florix really doesn't bring anything fresh or unique to the puyo puyo genre for experienced players. However because of its simple controls, Florix is recommended as a good introduction for younger players who are looking to try this style of game for the first time.
DescriptionFlorix is a marvelous puzzle-arcade game set in a flower garden where you are to take care of falling flowers. Each flower petal has its own color. Groups of petals with matching color disappear leaving only brilliance in the air. New flowers grow on twigs on the top of the screen, then they fall down and the heap of lying flowers increases.
Your aim is to not let them fill the entire screen. Incredible bonuses appearing in the center of flowers will help you during the game. Every new game level brings new colors of petals, new bonuses and dynamics of the game increases!
