Spikey’s Bounce Around is a puzzle game where players control Spikey, a spiked ball. As Spikey, you must rescue all your butterfly friends who are trapped in jars. You must also deal with various enemies and other obstacles that may hinder you from rescuing your friends.

You control Spikey by tapping and holding the screen and then releasing to send him in the desired direction. The controls are simple, but shot calculation becomes harder as you must complete each level in under a certain number of moves. Also, while Spikey’s bounce path is easy to manage, at certain times you might have to rely on a luck rather than a skilled shot.

The cartoony 2D visuals are bright and are very smooth. The sound is fun and tribal, but there are no options to use your iPhone during the game. The game features a single player story mode and there are no leaderboard options, but players can repeat levels to try and beat their previous highscore.

Spikey’s Bounce Around is a simple game, but highly addictive. The increasing level difficulties will definitely give players a challenge, while the option to replay levels will keep you returning for more. The only major drawback is the lack of leaderboards, but hopefully this will be fixed with an update.
