Trundle is a puzzle based game whereby you roll and jump a blue glowing ball through obstacles to continue to the next screen. Similar in essence to games like Rolando, Trundle has a unique visual quality and addictiveness that makes it stand out.

The controls are simple enough in that you tilt the screen to roll the ball and tap the screen to jump. Working out the best timing for jumps to use the appropriate inertia can take time, but it all adds to the challenge of the game. There is also no pause between levels as you simply roll on to the next screen and can roll back and forth between screens if needed.

Visually, Trundle is quite impressive with the foreground in silhouette over beautiful, sunset backgrounds. This visual style makes the obstacles stound out well. There's also appropriate and unobtrusive music and sound effects both of which can have their volume changed in the options screen. Due to the nature of the game, there is also no scoring or online achievements but this does not detract from the experience.

Overall, Trundle is a visually artistic rolling puzzle game with some addictive, challenging gameplay. The only fault is perhaps a lack of depth and variety in levels and gameplay elements.
