Pew Pew Land by Mobile Force is probably one of the first tower defense games to incorporate such a comprehensive set of multiplayer features and is definitely deserving of its 'Multiplay Defense Game' title. Pew Pew's TD gameplay is almost worth the price of entry by itself, but with the ability to play head to head against friends or even co-cooperatively this is definitely a must grab title.

Pew Pew's gameplay is standard for tower defense games, using a grid based positioning system for your towers and a fixed path for enemies to follow. Towers can be dragged in to place on the grid and tapping each one will give you an overlay of its effective range and the ability to upgrade or sell them. There are 8 basic varieties of towers to strategically use and each has up to six upgradeable levels.

The interface is clean and simplified, making it easy to see what's happening on screen at all times and there are plenty of special effects to keep the action bright and fun. The single-player levels provide a great way to learn about each tower and how to use them effectively, but the real fun doesn't start till you check out the game's multiplayer features.

Despite being a fairly high quality, if standard, tower defense game, it's possible that Pew Pew Land might have flown under the radar if it wasn't for the great multiplayer features of the game. Still, this is worth checking out and maybe even gifting to a friend just to try out head to head and co-op features.
