For many a glorious morning have I seen.
Flatter the mountain-tops with sovereign eye.
Kissing with golden face the meadows green.
Gilding pale streams with heavenly alchemy.
Even so my sun one early morning did shine.
With all triumphant splendor on my brow.

The black cloud had mask'd him from me now.

I lightly opened that box of Fortune Cookie on the desk.
Picked one out and crumbed it carefully.
Unfolded the words full of wisdom.
“Suns of the world may stain when heaven's sun stain”
My heart brightened on that one moment.
Though the black cloud had masked my sun.
