Unfortunately LIFX does not support the ability to change the lights while your app is running in the background. At present you need to have your app open (your device must not be locked) if you want to use functions like the alarm or next sunset. As soon as LIFX will distribute a final solution for this, we will incorporate it in our app.

IntelliLux is the smart and intelligent app that you can use to control your LIFX bulbs.

FUNCTIONS

- Change the hue, saturation and brightness with an intuitive colour picker.
- Accessories; Use your bluetooth heart rate sensor to visualise your heart rate zones. Get that extra motivation by keeping the lights on! (not supported on all platforms)
- Adapt to weather conditions; You can let IntelliLux adapt your lights to the local weather conditions. Your lights will be updated every half hour with the most recent weather. Blue for blue skies, purple for thunder, gray for mist and more!
- Next sunset; IntelliLux knows when sunset takes place. Let your lights dim slowly as sunset approaches. If you can't wait till sunset, there is still the simulate option which triggers sunset (or sunrise) instantaneously.
- Alarm; wake slowly by the natural light of sunrise followed by a series of pulses and your own music.

REQUIREMENTS

IntelliLux works with LIFX light bulbs, so make sure you have one before downloading.

IntelliLux is developed using the official LIFX SDK from LIFX Labs available on GitHub. Weather conditions are fetched from OpenWeatherMap.org.
