Earyummy is an app that revolutionizes the concept of the music magazine in a concept we call the mobizine Why just read about new music when you can listen to it. And why just read when you can connect with other users through peer proximity connections, making it easier to meet people with similar interests and similar taste in music.

Even with all the new cool stuff in the app, Earyummy still is the leader in breaking new bands as the mixtape platform that broke bands like Haim, Two Door Cinema Club and Rae Morris in the United States as well as comedians like Drew Michael. Our magazine content is more expansive and now reads like a magazine, letting you read and listen at the same time.

There is a bunch of other great stuff:
• In Earyummy also includes more radio stations and DJ streams.

• Our Cooltouring mapping section lets you map cool neighborhoods and route trips to festivals and venues.

• In addition to new music, comedy and fashion, Earyummy is expanding with our pulture section, (politics and culture), with a provocative series of intimate interviews with individuals who helped pave the way for Obama's presidency.

Information is useless without connections to make it actionable and Earyummy lets users become a community. By the way, we're only for iPhone, iPod and iPad, not Android because we want Earyummy to create a special space for people passionate about music and the culture around it, all for a 99 cent permanent subscription that also acts as a membership starting August 2104.

Earyummy is the brainchild of Lexington KY musician Haley Nicole-Rison and Kristopher Irizarry-Hoeksema, a former Congressional Quarterly web producer, New York Sun fashion writer and Coolhunting contributor.
