Blizzard has revealed the Forged in the Barrens expansion for Hearthstone will launch on 30th March, giving us only two more weeks until the new cards and features will be available. It’ll be launching on iOS and Android alongside its PC release.

But if you wanted to get your New Hearthstone Expansion fix early, Blizzard will be hosting a few pre-release treats for any fans interested in picking up Forged in the Barrens. To start with, there will be a series of early sneak peek card reveals going out across different channels and outlets, culminating in a final card reveal livestream on the 22nd March featuring RegisKillbin, Community Manager Chris Sierra, and Game Designer Liv Breeden on 22nd March.

Fireside Gatherings is also another pre-release event occurring, which will allow you the chance to open your packs early before the expansion officially unlocks. These gatherings will occur during the week before launch, starting on 26th March and ending on the 29th.

They’ll also include Fireside Brawls, which let you play with new cards featured in the new packs. In the Forged in the Barrens No Cards Barred Brawl, you’ll be able to construct decks using the cards you earn in the pre-release event. There aren’t any restrictions set on class or duplicates, so you can go nuts.

There will also be A Recipe for Tenacity, a pre-constructed brawl that includes new deck recipes from Forged in the Barrens sets to play with. What’s especially cool about this is you won’t have to have bought packs in order to play this brawl.

Forged in the Barrens introduces 135 all-new cards to Hearthstone, taking place in one of World of Warcraft’s most iconic locations. You can buy the expansion for £44.99 which grants you 60 card packs from the expansion, or £69.99 for the Mega Bundle which includes 85 card packs.

You can download Hearthstone now from the iOS App Store or the Google Play for Android store.
