KRAFTON Inc has announced a bumper August update for its battle royale NEW STATE: Mobile, including a fairly high-profile collaboration. Partnering with the iconic Assassin’s Creed series, players will be able to net a huge range of sneaky goodness during the event.

Running until September 22nd the Assassin’s Creed event will offer the chance to collect two full outfits from two of the franchise's iconic protagonists; Shay Patrick Cormac from Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and the ever-popular Ezio Auditore da Firenze. On top of this, players will be able to obtain over 30 unique themed costumes, weapon skins and items through the limited-time events and collaboration crates.

Themed costumes are all well and good, however, they will not reduce the chance of detection followed by a hailstorm of bullets. To remedy this, KRAFTON has introduced a new sniper rifle for the true hidden warrior experience.

The Lynx AMR can be obtained from care packages or as a small chance in the weapon box inside the Police Station. Coming equipped with 10 pre-loaded 50 BMG ammunition, the Lynx is the most powerful sniper introduced so far, devastating both players and vehicles at long range. Certainly more efficient than a Hidden Blade.

In order to design and test new content, the NEW STATE Labs have opened for business as a setting for players to experience new features before anyone else. The inaugural test gesture is entitled Akinta: Bounty Royale. Not much has been revealed about this game mode beyond it being a prize competition instead of just focusing on survival skills. A maximum of 36 participants can join, and entry is locked behind play tickets that are distributed via community events, or by being gifted one by a participating player.

NEW STATE: Mobile is available to download now on the App Store and Google Play, and the full patch notes for August can be found on the official site.
