Square Enix has significantly dropped the price of first-person sci-fi blaster Deus Ex: The Fall.

Previously an iOS exclusive, this mobile tie-in to the Deux Ex franchise exists in the same universe as its gold tinged console cousin.

Set in a world where cybernetic augmentations are the norm, the game casts you as an ex SAS mercenary trying to discover the truth about a special-op gone wrong.

With production values to match Deux Ex: Human Revolution, this touchscreen version is no slouch in the visual department, firing a highly detailed and immersive world onto your retina display.

The tactical choice inherent to the series also survives the jump to mobile. You can clear a mission by charging in all guns blazing, or try to sneak past your enemies altogether to avoid blood shed.

While we took issue with the dual stick controls, we judged Deus Ex: The Fall to be "a handsome diversion for franchise fans."

You can download that diversion for 69p / 99c until Monday. After that, the price will rocket back up to £4.99 / $6.99.
