Do you fancy yourself nautically minded? Do you watch the America's Cup every year? If so, i assume you're a fan of sailing, and if that is the case, you should probably check out Sailboat Championship Pro, a game where you must control your yacht around a course in order to achieve the fastest lap times possible.

There are multiple levels of control from manning the sails, to steering, but you can have the computer handle the sails while you concentrate on catching the wind. These controls all are incredibly responsive. Most of the levels are races where you must complete laps as fast as possible and are awarded either a bronze, silver, or gold trophy, but there are rescue missions as well for something a little different.

The game uses simple 3D visuals that lay out all the information you need nicely as you try and zoom through checkpoints. The sounds are all ambient but you can play your ipod if things get a bit bare. The game contains nine stages, two resuce missions, and six boats, all which need to be unlocked with skillful playing. Openfeint is also enabled for achievements and leaderboards.

Sailboat Championship Pro is definitely for fans of sailing or those looking for a more relaxing game. Be warned though, the game has a steep learning curve. For training, it suggests you download the free Sailboat Championship app, so that's a good a place as any to test the waters.
