Stylish brawler Justice Royale arrives on iOS later this month

The stylizied aesthetic and flashy attacks of Justice Royale will be releasing worldwide on May 30th, after a soft launch period for the Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia.  The mean streets of Justice Royale are filled with enemies to pummel and evade, as you use simple touch controls to unleash powerful combos. Tapes and swipes result in juggles and charged blows, with more abilities and moves unlocked as you progress through the story mode. The stick figure aesthetic injects sidescrolling beat-em-up action with a jagged messy style that compliments the fighting and animations well; well your character is a simple stick person, Justice Royale will have a number of customi…

Everything you need to know about Shadow Fight 3 for iPhone and iPad

Okay, it's Thursday, so that means that it's time for the Thursday find. Except I've gone and changed the name of it, because quite frankly The Thursday Find is one of the worst possible SEO titles that I've ever heard for anything. I'm so sorry I've let you all down like this. Anyway, the format of the content is going to be basically the same. I'm going to pick a game, write some stuff about it, and give you a link to download it. It's pretty smart, right? It's just the name that has changed, so don't you worry too much, regular reader. So yeah, click on the emboldened name of the game below to download it. And if you've got your own experiences to share, feel free to stick them in the c…

Hands-on with Raging Justice, in which I beat up goons, slap about ladies, kick some dogs, and punch in a phone booth or two

I saw this 2D side scrolling brawler when I went to Insomnia a few weeks back, and immediately knew we had to cover it here on AppSpy. It's a Final Fight / Streets of Rage by way of Clayfighter, but with lots more content than those older games, and extremely polished controls linked to loads of different abilities and attacks. Raging Justice is shaping up to be awesome, and is one of my most anticipated games of 2015. Here's what it looks like in motion...…

We take a closer look at early iOS beat-em-up Kroll in today's entry of the EncyclAPPedia, seeing whether time has been kind to its "cinematic" visuals. Super Smash Bros. inspired brawler Fright Fight hits iOS on February 12th

Seemingly drawing inspiration Super Smash Bros, RPGs, and western horror, Appsolute Games has created Fright Fight, a new fighting game set to hit the App Store on February 12th. Pitting two or four players against each other in either solo or team based matches, Fright Fight is all about fast-paced multiplayer mayhem. You'll have four iconic horror characters to choose between: a yeti, a werewolf, the Grim Reaper, and a vampire. Each of these creepy combatants will have their own combos and moves, giving them their own unique fighting style. RPG elements will also allow you to upgrade each brawler to better suit you own pugilistic preferences. The trailer (above) shows F…
