Tony Hawk's Shred Session is coming to iOS this summer
Activision’s Tony Hawk series defined skating games for most of the 2000s. Now, over a decade later, the company is bringing a new instalment of the series to the iPhone and iPad in the form of Tony Hawk's Shred Session, a free-to-play lane-based autorunner. As a lane-based endless game, Tony Hawk's Shred Session looks pretty standard. Swiping left or right shifts your skater between lanes to collect coins and avoid obstacles. RTS sequel Autumn Dynasty: Warlords invades the App Store a day early
After nearly a three-month delay that has had us sharpening our swords in anticipation, we thought we were prepared for the scheduled appearance of Autumn Dynasty: Warlords on the App Store tomorrow. However, in an unexpected sneak attack, Touch Dimensions has decided to release the RTS sequel a day early. Set in feudal China, the massive 4x (explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate) strategy game puts you on the path of the Autumn Emperor. Destined to unite the country under a single banner, you will have to build cities, conduct espionage, and raise armies to 'convince' the other provinces that you should indeed be their ruler. Featuring real-time battles, a non-linear camp…
Riot Runners is the latest monochrome auto-runner to hit the App Store
Room 8's new endless-runner Riot Runners just hit the App Store. This stylish, silhouetted runner pits a group resistance fighter robots against evil, automated overlords. The moody black-and-white art style makes the tiny steampunk robots look adorable, especially when set against the dark, industrialised world that surrounds them. Though you start with a single protagonist, you can unlock additional characters with different powers as you progress. These new automatons are bought using currency collected in game…

To play, you must swipe a group of tiles up, down, left, or right across a 4x4 grid. Pushing a 1 tile against a 2 tile creates a 3 tile. But from there tiles only combine with tiles bearing a matching number - 3 tiles combine with other 3 tiles into 6 tiles, 6s into 12s, and so on. The aim of the game is to combine…
