Kwalee’s Teacher Simulator donating profits to help fight child food poverty
Mobile games developer Kwalee is donating all profits made from Teacher Simulator towards helping the UK’s most vulnerable children this week. As all schools within the country switch to remote online learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, Kwalee is donating all profits made by the game this week to the Marcus Rashford-backed charity FareShare, which aims to combat food poverty in the UK. “Teacher Simulator was partly inspired by our own experiences at school, from the mundane to the bizarre,” said Simon Platt from Kwalee. “These were largely fond memories for us, fortunately, but no child should have to worry about where their next meal is coming f…

Marvel Contest of Champions adds Jubilee and Stryfe as new characters
Kabam Games has added a new content update to its comic book fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions on iOS and Android devices. For the X-Men fans out there, players can now play as mutants Jubilee and Stryfe, who each come with their own attacks and special abilities. As always, a motion comic has also been released. The mutant lands of Krakoa are attacked by a powerful unseen force, and Cable sets out to track down the attacker by teaming up with a young mutant. Call of Duty: Mobile has had a new update for Season 13, bringing with it new maps, game modes and another Battle Pass to work through. The update is called Winter War to coincide with Christmas coming later this week. First of all, the new Battle Pass brings in new tiers of free and premium content to unlock as you work your way through it. Free unlocks here include the EMP System scorestreak and Peacekeeper MK2 assault rifle. Meanwhile the premium tiers includes unlocks for Golem (Siberia) and GKS (Pack Warrior). Heroes War: Counterattack’s first major update has launched on iOS and Android, bringing a new Guild Raid feature and festive cheer to the mobile game. Guild Raids are a cooperative mode where you and at least seven others can group up to defeat a powerful boss. Completing each raid assigns everyone with a guild rank, calculated using the damage numbers each team member caused, and rewarding in-game items and points to the players based on those results. Today, Square Enix announced Just Cause: Mobile will be coming to iOS and Android devices sometime next year. It’s a top down shooter based on the Just Cause series which has released on PC and consoles over the years, but it’s designed specifically for touch screens and includes a singleplayer campaign and various multiplayer modes to partake in too.
